Carys Jenkins
Registered Veterinary Technician
Meet Carys
Carys graduated from Ridgetown College with a diploma in Veterinary Technology in the spring of 2006 and attained the status of Registered Veterinary Technician a few months later. She worked for just over a year at a small animal/equine practice near Waterloo before joining Hale Veterinary Clinic in August of 2007.
Carys' day is split between the treatment room, monitoring anesthesia, assisting Dr. Hamilton, and the role of referral coordinator.
Brooklyn, her daughter who was born in 2018, keeps Carys and her husband Carmine on their toes, and they spend most of their free time taking her to all of her activities. Someday, Carys hopes to get back to the lake and her love of rowing. At home, she is greeted by her Bernese Mountain dog, aptly named Atlas, who joined the family in 2019.
Carys is proud to be Fear Free Certified.
