Stacey Huneke
Registered Veterinary Technician
Meet Stacey
Stacey graduated from Seneca College in 2001 and achieved her RVT status in the same year. For the early part of her RVT career, she worked in predominantly equine practices before transitioning into a mixed-animal practice, performing anesthesia on companion animals. Starting in 2013, Stacey spent five years working for the regulatory body of RVTs in Ontario (the OAVT). Looking to get back into clinical work, Stacey joined Hale Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 2018.
In addition to her work here, Stacey is also a nationally and internationally certified equine drug testing official.
Stacey and her husband share as much of their home as their cat, Freddie Fromage, and their dog, Macaroni, will allow. Stacey is also the lifestyle manager for a miniature donkey, Bandit, and is competitive in carriage driving with her pony, Stilton. She would talk about Harry Potter all day if we let her.
Stacey is proud to be Fear Free Certified.
